    No audio after installing windows xp pro

    I am using creative PCI 128 ct4810.When I install Windows XP Pro on my system there is an error message says that no audio device found or bad directsound driver everytime I play my audio player.But when I refer to the properties of audio device from device mnanager it says that the device is working properly(ES1371,ES1373)(WDM).My mainboard is P4VMM2(Elite).Anybody can help me? Thanks

    So you have an actual sound card installed, is that correct? If so, are you sure the onboard sound is disabled, because it appears that board has integrated audio as well.

    Yes, the mainboard has an integrated audio but it is disabled.

    and i have an actual sound card installed creative 128 PCI CT4810 and the integrated audio is disabled

    have you tried the whql certified driver from creative?

    I already tried the certified driver from creative but it did'nt work.
    here is my system summary:
    OS: Windows XP Pro
    Version:5.1.2600 Service Pack 2 Build 2600
    System manufacturer: ECS
    System Model:P4VMM2
    System Type: X86-based PC
    Processor:Celeron 1.8GHz
    Chipset: P4M266/A Northbridge and VT8235 Southbridge
    Soundcard: Creative Vibra 128 PCI Model CT4810
    Anybody Can help me Please?
