    Resolved [RESOLVED] System32 folder displays

    Hello All

    Please could you advise me on why this folders shows after start up, system32,this has some how started without any notice.

    I have recently installed a new hard drive to keep all my games on and that is working fine, as from the rest of the pc is working fine.

    I did try the Stuffit as a trial version but have since uninstalled but I have 3 folders that I am unable to delete and they are as follows.

    1. Allume.dll
    9.00.21
    Allumecommonlibrary.

    2. compressmenu.dll
    9.00.21.
    Stuffitcompress shell extension

    3. mfc71.dll
    7.10.3077.0
    mfcdll sheard library ...retail version.

    If there is any one out there that can and could enlighten me with these problems it would be greatly appreciated.

    As far as the system32 folder appearing, you mean Windows Explorer I take it? Follow the instructions from above, then close Explorer, then reboot and tell us if it appears again. If so, is there a particular file in the folder which is highlighted?
