    Where is NooNoo?

    Where is NooNoo?

I miss her busy and frighteningly competent presence.

    Coooooeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Freaking Java RMI - well that was fairly easy, what wasn't easy was learning java swing and using Jbuilder9 (which may be free, but should at least compile java correctly).

Lesseee, apart from Java I have
    done Christmas
    got a clean house
archived 2 years of household accounts
done the last 18 months tax accounts
done a of household accounts and tax accounts for the divorce
costumes for both childrens' christmas concerts
    attended christmas concerts
    and finally got drunk.
Never, ever approach a computer saying or even thinking "I will just do this quickly."

I WAS about to try and find somewhere to post up, that I'd discovered that here -http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=314482 - Microsoft say it's more efficient to have 2 paging files, one on the C: drive and one in a partition on it's own .. so I thought I'd try that, and dashing to and from the back room to watch a hilarious film called 'Mrs Doubtfire', I changed C and D .. to C, D and a small E and created a new paging file and things seem marginally faster...then I approached Windrivers and skidded to a halt to see ....

    NOONOO !!

I dunno what excuse you have, young lady? But great to see you popping in!!
