To get started we need to know what sound card you have? Or is it
integrated on your mother board? You will need to Identify which one

They have started to charge for this service but you still can download it for what you need to find what sound you have so to direct you to the
correct driver.

Alternatively you can still obtain the last unrestricted free Everest from:
http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4181.html
It just won't be updated to recognise new types of hardware that came out after its release date. Not many people will have such systems yet.
