Well, after a warmer than usual January, we are back to winter and we are expecting close to 10" of snow!

Sorry.
Here, after months of incessant rain, we now have bright sunshine (for today at least). The cats are out sunning themselve in the garden amongst the bluebells and crocuses that are pushing up out of the warm soil.
Ah... the west coast!

Urgggh...
After years of walking through it as a child, freezing on the bus to school and not getting warm until lunch time, I hate snow!

Ahh, it's over now, got around a foot of snow. The dogs are loving it as well as my son. My husband still had to catch a flight to South Carolina. Darn..

There's no business like snow business like no business I know!
I lived in Dale City, Virginia in 1996, and was in NYC during the Blizzard of '96. New York did an incredible cleanup job, and Northern Virginia, Southern Maryland, and especially D.C. performed miserably. Hope things are better now!

I lived in Binghamton NY until I was 12 and I remember I went to school in a foot of snow. Anyway, now for the present, I think they do a better job clearing the snow, our area is plowed as well as the main roads. I am praying for school to open tomorrrow..
