MSI 845Pro (MS06529) trouble...
I have a MSI 645 Pro (MS6529) which is not showing anything on the screen while booting. The screen stays blank. I tried reseating the video card and memory, no help. This board has 4 LED's inside against the I/O ports, I believe they are some kind of diagnostic LED's. I can not download the manual from MSI, it is not working. So I cant't figure out if this would give me a clue to the source of the problem.
When I turn on the master power switch from the rear power supply the machine start booting, I get nothing on the screen, fans running and you begin to hear the HDD spinning, then nothin. Blank screen. The LED's from top to bottom show RED-GREEN-RED-GREEN. The monitor acts like nothing is connected to it. Since I did not have a matching AGP video card to test, I tried a PCI video card as well and same result.
After about 10 minutes of just sitting there running, I hear a wave-off siren type of tone comming from the PC speaker. I have to turn the master power switch off because holding the normal power button for 4-6 seconds does not turn the machine off.
Any thought as to the problem?
Running P4 CPU
Windows Home Edition
Thanks.....
Does anyone know the error codes for these LED's?

Hello CardMan
You will need to make few observation to get to the bottom of this problem
they are
1. Check if RAM modules are properly connected /latched.
2. Have you connected processor core supply connector. is it properly connected.
3. Look for any loose connection or bad cable
4. Check if theres any LED glowing on Motherboard only Red, only Green or both.
5. What is beep code interpretation. they are different for different BIOS(assuming msi __645 pro ms 6529 use ami bios) Read information on following page carefully.

Thanks Ross.v & geoscomp,
The LED's on this board are in one line, top to bottom along the LPT I/O connector visible only inside the computer, not like the ones in the link you sent (I have that set up in an older MSI board). Mayybe they still represent "1-2-3-4" and just read a different way. I have to check to see if there are any markings on the board. I have no beeps when powering on. I did reseat the memory module, I will also try another module. I am also going to try to reset the CMOS.
I did not take the CPU or CPU fan off and I checked all the connectoer inside.
Thanks and if there is any additional information you have let me know.
