AWRDACPI - I need a bios update says linksys
Well, I bought a Linksys lne100tx network card. When I inserted it into the PCI slot, the computer never recognized it. My OS is Windows XP. I kept getting a message that said the hardware could not be installed and it said something else which I should have written down but, oh well. So I proceeded to call Linksys tech support and they told me that I needed to update my Bios for my motherboard. Well, all I know about my motherboard is that it is an AWRDACPI, but Im not sure if NVIDIA is the manufacturer.
SYS. Info says
Sys manufacturer : NVIDIA
Sys. Model: AWRDACPI
BIOS Version/Date: Phoenix Technologies LTD 6.oo pg 7/18/2003
SMBIOS Version: 2.2
Well, what do I need and where do I need to go to get it? If you need more info I can get it. I didnt really want to open up my computer again to look at the motherboard but I will if i have to. Thanks if anyone can help. Very much appreciated.

Everest Home Edition will tell you all about your board. Personally, I think Linksys support is delusional, but without knowing more details about your board and the error messages, I could be wrong.
Linksys has made a slew of different 100tx NICS with virtually every chipset known to man, and they all use different drivers. Are you certain you tried to install the correct driver for your model?
