Windows 2003 R2 (64Bit) on existing Windows 2000 Domain
Hi,
My question is Simple can I install a Windows 2003 R2 server on an existing windows 2000 Domain.
The new Windows 2003 R2 will not be a DC, plain application server (Mainly SQL).
Cheers,
Gabriel

No reason I can think why not. If you wanted to make it a DC then you would have to update the 2k AD schema; have never done that but here is an MS KB on how to do it. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/325379
As a stand-alone server it shouldn't cause any issues at all; it is in effect just a standard workstation client in that respect.
