If it ain't broke don't fix it.
If your engine works fine, don't touch the carburetor..
    need more?

CeeBee has a point why replace a working forum with the risk of a potential buggy version or even risk a data corruption upon conversion.
One Script to rule them all.
    One Script to find them.
One Script to bring them all,
    and clean up after itself.

Indeed, JupiterMedia do upgrade the forum software from time to time, when the benefits of the enhanced features will outweigh the work involved in making the transition. Inevitably a few things break and have to be got working properly again, and if you scroll across the Internet.com header, the number of websites being maintained makes upgrading a major project.

    Cool

If it's not broke and it's up2date with any patches that have been released for the particular version. Then why upgrade?

It's just extra work that doesn't need to be done just yet.

Beside's JM owns a loooooot of other websites. So i'm sure that they are upgrading etc each site when it really needs it.

It reminds me of a time when they had to upgrade a certain yellow website and gawd i would of hated being the one that had to get that done.

Joe you know what i'm talking about lol
