On boot up Master slave not detected
My mom is having a major problem with her computer. This afternoon she was playing her games online she got up for a moment and came back and all that was showing was a blue screen with what I believe were a bunch of errors.
She has tried to reboot but it won't it keeps saying master slave not found.
Is this computer ready for the trash or can she go into the set up and try something there or go into safe mode?
She runs windows xp and I cant tell you much more about her system.
Sorry if this is in the wrong section.

I am not sure I will have to go over there tomorrow after work and see exactly what is going on. I should have more info tomorrow.

Update
My Mother had contacted a computer repair shop and she told them of the problems that she was having. He asked her if she had down loaded anything and she told him the only thing that she had put new on her computer was Kodak easy share program and that is when she started to have her problems. The repair man told her that there is a worm in the software.
A week or so ago I was having some issues with my computer I fortuantly unistalled the Kodak easy share program and mine has been fine. I checked my anti virus program and sure enough there it was quarantined.
I got the registry patrol and it works great.
Thank you
