    Usb Malfunctioned

    I have windows xp service pack 2 on my computer installed. Whenever I plug my MP4 into my USB Drive a message comes high speed usb drive plugged into non high speed usb drive, The Usb drive has malfunctioned .the icons of mp4 player dissappear and the mp4 stops working and any songs transferred are deleted.Please help.

    That means the USB in your system is not USB 2 and is only USB 1.1
    Thwe device seems to require USB 2.0 and they are supposed to be backwards compatible but many times they are not

    You could do what I did. Go to Walmart and purchase a USB 2 card pci
    and install it on your computer. That was awhile back, you may have to do some searching but they are out there
