laptop to router
Hello I'm using my father's latitude d820 with vista 32bit. For some reason it won't connect wirelessly to our router:LINKSYS WRT54G VERSION 6 FIRMWARE VERSION 1.O2.0. All of the rest of our computers connect wireless to our router just fine. They also all are xp sp2 only. So is there some issue with vista and Linksys wrt54g? I have the latest router firmware installed and the latest WLAN dell driver installed on the vista laptop. Can someone help me?

Does vista detect the wireless network?

So you created the wireless profile while wired to the router?

Have you setup MAC filtering on the router? If so did you add the wireless MAC of the Vista machine to the Filter list?
