    Talking

Ma Kelly: Bless the saints, it's an ashtray! I've been thinking of taking up smoking. This clinches it!

    I'm good enough.
    I'm smart enough.
    And doggone it,

Smoked for about 3 years, lightly (less than 10 a day) and quit when my 6-month old son was diagnosed with asthma. He's now 14.

If only I'd known then that the father being a smoker, not just the mother, at time of conception could have an effect on my child's health, I would have stopped much earlier.

I quit cold turkey. Just don't go out and buy any more with your precious money. And don't bum any off of your family and/or friends.

And yes, it is true. Ex-smokers are the worst when it comes to b|tching about having to be around smokers. Everything stinks, the ash trays are nasty, and I'm sick of all of the cigarette burns in the funiture, the aphostery in the car,...

Uh, ok. I feel better now. Thanks for the rant.

Seriously tho, quit. And quit now. Don't be one of those who sits there and says, "Yeah, one of these days I'll quit." Just go ahead and do it!
Sounds like me. I started at age 14, smoked until my 22nd birthday. I too quit cold turkey, threw my smokes out that day and never bought or bummed another one from there on out.

My wife was never a smoker, and she never made it to 5 feet either!
If only you knew what's inside of me now,
You wouldn't want to know me, somehow.
