Creative AudioPCI (ES1371,ES1373) (WDM) problems
Ok heres the deal whenever I want sound working, I have to uninstall Creative AudioPCI (ES1371,ES1373) (WDM) and Microsoft Kernel Acoustic Echo Canceller and Microsoft Kernel Audio Splitter from Device Manager and then restart my comp, MKAEC and MKAS always have a ! next to them but Creative AudioPCI (ES1371,ES1373) (WDM) never does. Recently tho this method of getting sound (uninstalling and restarting) doesnt seem to be working anymore and I just wanna get this sorted so I dont have to do anything and my sound just works for once!
This is my motherboard I think from Belarc
Board: Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. 945GZM-S2
Bus Clock: 200 megahertz
BIOS: Award Software International, Inc. FE 01/29/2007
Oh and in services.msc Windows Audio is started
Anymore info needed?
Thanks alot

That motherboard has a couple vrsions - please identify the version number, ie, 2.1, 3.x or 6.6 .
This 'should be' on the motherboard but may appear in the bios string on post or may even show in Everest or system info.
Drivers are then found via the Gigabyte site:
http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Support/M...d=%20945GZM-S2
(open the 'series' entry and click on GA-9xxxx and then identify the specific version of the 945GZM)

Thanks for the help m8, in ths bios bit on everest it says award BIOS Type then says Award Modular BIOS v6.00PG so I chose the v6.6 version on the website, is this right? When I do that im giving two options for audio,
Microsoft UAA (Universal Audio Architecture) Bus driver (Full Multi-language version )
Realtek Function driver for Realtek Azalia audio chip (Including Microsoft UAA Driver in English edition)
Ive started downloading the Realtek one but the website is awfully slow and going at 10kb!!
Thanks again

I believe in cases like this where there a several 'versions' of the board you aren't looking at Bios version but the version of the motherbod which might be evident in Bios (if you get that).
Thus, look at the motherboard or download and run Everest and look at the Motherboard info:

A little info on how to look for info:
