32 Bit Print Server - 64 Bit Clients
Hi,
Does anyone know of any KBs outlining the setup required for hosting drivers for 64 bit clients on a 32 bit print server?
If you have to search for answer, don't bother unless you have a lot of time on your hands. I can do my own searching, if/when I have time. If you know, however, please reply.
The situation is a Windows 2003 Std file and print server with Server 2003 x64 clients.
What patch level does the 2003 x32 box need to be at?
Thanks.

By labbing the situation, I have discovered that the i86 (32-Bit) Windows Server 2003 print server needs to be at a minimum level of SP1 for it to be aware that there is such a thing as an x64 version of the OS and thus be willing to accept print drivers for x64 clients.
For documentation reasons, I am still looking for an MS KB that spells this information out. I have not yet been able to find such. If you know of such, please advise.
Thanks.
