Installing IDE drivers from Intel...
Hello there,
I'm having quite a trouble installing the latest IDE drivers that I've downloaded from Intel site. When I run the file it says that my sistem already support the chipset and no inf files are needed to upgrade.
But here's the catch, I'm running WinME (on Asus mobo P3B-F, PIII 1GHZ, 128 NEC-PC133 Memory and a G-Force 256 DDR videocard) and when I take a peak on Device Manager (in System) and hard disk controller it shows an default primary and secondary generic controller although it recognizes the Intel BX chipset. I know that something is wrong because WinME identifies my HD as Generic IDE Disk Type47.
I would really appreciate some help from anyone. Thanx.
