When Dilbert features your Network Admin...
Today's Dilbert...
When I was at college, this actually happened... the Network Admin went on holiday to Russia 2 hours after reconfiguring the managed switches. 43 computers in 3 rooms and 2 in another quit (no access to any network services whatsoever) and of course those were the pc's on which specialist software was loaded for fee paying courses....
Never, ever approach a computer saying or even thinking "I will just do this quickly."

Note to self: 1. Dilbert has good ideas. 2. Need to find cheap tickets to arctic via russian submarines. 3. Coincide vacations with the end of huge projects. 4. Lack of presence and availability is just as good as non-accountability.
LOL ok I wouldn't really do that but that is funny... Ironically there is a dilbert that features one of our crazy programmers from when I started pc work. I'll need to get a scan of it and post.
One Script to rule them all.
One Script to find them.
One Script to bring them all,

yeah but it's one from about 8 years ago... so that's a bit of searching I think. I could be wrong. I know it was from the calendar they had for that year.
