    Asus M2V problem

    Hi,
This mobo ASUS M2V has some critical problems mybe due to its VIA chipset
It's freezes during boot or during playing some games.
Is there any software updates to solve the problem or have to change the mobo.
    >>I've tested many of them with latest BIOS versions or even older one's and changed the Graphics and all the drivers on fresh Windows<<
I'm pretty sure it's the motherboard problem.
    thanks.

What does the event viewer have to say?
    How about a bootlog?

Dune, event viewer is in computer management - is that what you meant?

You have to tell windows to create a bootlog - use msconfig.

There are not any known problems with that via chipset that would cause what your describing. Thats a very stable chipset so I would be looking elsewhere for the problem.
    Power supply not adequate
    Memory problems
    Over heating
    etc etc

The stick of Patriot should be changed out and try something else
Also as OMGmissinglink said you need more like 450 to 550
    Also what video card?

A TON of bios updates made for that board and many were addressing memory compatability and the latest adrressed a graphics card problem:
