    Biostar... they are the motherboard drivers..

    Did you check the security settings for the drive?

    This is nothing to do with limitations on the bios, if you have a primary partition of over 137 gb, you don't have a bios problem.


    You need the via drivers here You want the retro drivers for the KT1## near the bottom of the page.

    damn!
    im sorry but i already had them installed...now i resized xp partition to 80 GB and created a 130 GB new partition that is still un accessible!!

    You still haven't told me whether you have checked the security tab and the permissions listed.

    How did you resize this partition?

    those tabs dont appear.i disabled simple sharing

    i used partrition magic to resize

    Did you try in safe mode logged in as Administrator?

    safe mode shows me the partition and i can access it.

    i have sp2

    Right, so please look at the security tab and see who has permission to access it while still in safe mode.
