How to save your settings in Office 2007

Hi! I've noticed the 'save my office settings tool' in Office 2007 is missing.

How can I go about saving my settings as it has been very useful in the past.

    Thanks

It was dropped in 2007, you have to use either the user state migration tool or the vista easy transfer wizard
Never, ever approach a computer saying or even thinking "I will just do this quickly."

perhaps the file settings and transfer wizard would be easier for you here is the step by step guide

The USMT is really for large businesses, but I get the feeling you just want to transfer settings to another computer? here is more about how to use USMT

The File and sttings transfer wizrd dos nor list Office settings whwn I run it as shown in the step by step guide.

Is this because I am using Office 2007?

I have a Office Ettings file with the OPS extension from last time is it possible to use this to retreive my settings?

Probably and I don't think so....

I think you are stuck with USMT and that you need to launch the help file that comes with it.

Can I ask whether it would be quicker to just configure the other office installation you want to move your settings to rather than trying to automate it?
