You need to allow the cookies specifically - see your other thread.

In Internet Explorer, click Tools, Internet Options, Privacy, Sites and enter http://forums.windrivers.com/ in the space and click Allow and then click OK and then OK again.

When it's happened on my VBulletin forum I get the user to clear cookies then restart Internet Explorer.

Frequently antispyware software is overly aggressive about wanting to delete cookies. The "Oh, Yeah? Well I found FOUR HUNDRED threats!" mentality.

Could it be something that's clearing cookies on exit? Perhaps the Security suite has an option for that?

ok this is going to sound odd.

go here and log in with your windrivers forums user name and password. click on any link you like, then log out - it should say "all cookies cleared". Now come back to this forum and login... does that help?

I tried and got this message
"An error occurred while attempting to log you out. Click here to log out."
So then I did the "click here to log out" and got the message that all cookies cleared. But I was still login. So I logged out then left the site then came back in and login then had to find the post again and sent you this message.

I left the site still login then came back to the site and had to login again to be able to edit this post with this message. And also what is strange I'm able to edit this post just like I was reading a post that I can't edit.

OK your security is screwed up along with the cookies. You are going to have to set your CA up so that it allows this site.

Check you have the windrivers cookie and delete it.
IE7, tools, internet options, general tab, Browsing history settings button, view files button and look for cookie:[username]@forums.windrivers.com

You must dump all cookies. You have to have an old cookie, which won't be cleared by logging out. Unfortunately there's no way to delete a single cookie in IE, that I know of. Removing it manually from the folder will not work. You must dump all cookies.
