    Black Squares on z82 Lexmark

    Hi!
    Long time no see
    I gave my sis a Lexmark Z82 MFC and she says it prints some documents in what appears to be reverse. I had installed a black aftermarket cartridge (was lacking funds) and it worked at first. She showed me a document with several black squares.

    Does the cart or the printer need to go or is there a simple fix?

    Try reloading the driver first, then try a new cable.

    I find that newe printers are hovering around $35 to $40 nowadays, it might be better to pick up a newer printer with onboard scanner, copier, etc.
