please help
i am running a computer with vista ultimate i have had no problems with ti until yesterday 29/dec/07 when windows asked to download critical updates for vista so i let it download them since restarting my computer i am having problems connectiing my i-pod nano v2 this worked with window drivers before the download now it saying that i need new drivers for it to connect properly i have done this but still it does not work please help !!!!

Have you been to Apple for an update? Is that what you mean by a new driver?
Have you tried uninistalling yesterday's updates?
Never, ever approach a computer saying or even thinking "I will just do this quickly."

I-tunes is very fussy, try un-installing it then re-installing it.

vista is requestind a device driver for ipod windows updares have been removed
i tunes has been removed and re installed and still this doe not work
my ipod works on my other computer with vista without and software on it it connects and a mass storage device in windows media player.
but i can not get it to connect on this one any more ideas please......
i have been told that i tune can have problems

OK, so reinstall those updates since they have not changed anything.
When you plug in the ipod, I think you may have a filter driver problem... this is the fix I know it says XP, but it's the same key for Vista.
Never, ever approach a computer saying or even thinking "I will just do this quickly."
