    No I didn't - read post#43

The ZV5000 series laptops do not support dual channel memory architecture.

Think about it...When the ZV5000 series was launched, had it supported dual channel memory it would have been a marketed as dual channel capable. Every feature of a laptop is listed in the specification. Dual Channel memory architecture is a feature. here is a HP laptop that does support dual channel memory It isn't a ZV5000 series

If you choose to misread my posts, I cannot help you.

The link I posted was to show that where an HP laptop supports dual channel memory architecture, it's shown in the specification.

So here is another thought for you. Where dual channel memory is supported on the ZD8080US, BOTH DIMM slots are user accessible. here is a review showing the two SODIMMS for the ZD8080US

The ZV5000 series laptops only allow user access to one DIMM slot.

From the information I can find the chipset only supports a single 64bit channel so no. The P4MAM-V does not support dual channel memory and neither do the ZV5000 series laptops.

Yawn. I am fed up of repeating myself.

Go buy the msi board and put two sticks of ram in. Try it for yourself.

    Been there, done that

The ZV5000 laptops series does not support dual channel memory architecture and neither does a P4M266A based motherboard.

The P4M266A supports double data rate ram.
It does not support dual channel memory architecture.
It has a single memory controller and a 64 bit bus.
The MSI board you posted supports up to a 3.06ghz 533fsb P4 processor. The maximum RAM speed the board will support is two 1 GB sticks of PC2100 otherwise known as DDR266.

I have been extremely patient with you, as has everyone else. Please now go and do your own research. I will not be answering you again.
