    Question Configuring 2 wireless cards

Using as toshiba satellite notebook with an internal wireless card(intel), using windows to manage it; added a linksys wireless card to connect to my epson projector, and to the internet at the same time. I get two wireless icons in the sys tray; can connect to the to the projector, but can't seem to establish firm connection to the access point for my wired network. Any solutions? many thanks!

I am using WinXP; the projector is a Powerlite 755c; using a 3com access point; tried this morning and used the Windows enabled internal wireless card, in my notebook, to connect to the Epson wireless card, and used the added 2nd Linksys card, on my notebook. to connect to the access point connect to my network--and it worked!

Windows is kinda funny when it comes to networking.

When opening new connections, it will use the current active network connection. If you add new network connections, new applications will make use of the new connection and ignore the old. Previously open applications will keep using the network connection that was active when they launched.

So what i would recommend, don't connect your internet connection. Establish your wifi to the epson. Once that is done and working, then connect your intel and you should be good to surf.

Personally, I would find a way of connecting the epson to the network in general and not have to worry about multiple network connections. I.E. Cascade the 3com AP to the internet router.
