I need a driver for my standard DVD/R/RW DVD R+RDL drive
Can you tell me where to obtain it please. Thanks

Actually you don't - the same drivers that drive your hard drives drive the optical drives.... yah I know, read it again slowly.

What problem do you have with the drive?

If you can't play a shop bought DVD, you need dvd playing software
If you have XP and you can't burn a dvd, you need dvd burning software.

Did your drive not come with a disk?

As NooNoo says you don't actually need drivers for the DVD RW in Windows.

The only thing you would need them for is DOS. It is unlikely that you are looking for LG DOS drivers, but if that is what you need, they are here:

Click on the device driver icon.

On the next screen, select DVD-ROM (Writer) and MS-DOS 6.0, and then click Search.

If the drive is just not working/appearing in Windows, it may be a simple configuration problem -- jumpers not set properly, etc.
