Outlook 2003 Junk Email Filter List Slow..

Hello..

I'm working on a system that has a wierd Outlook issue. The user utlilizes the Junk eMail filter a lot. She has hundreds of address on it. She has to go through it sometimes and make sure that no one was put in there accidentally.
When she opens the list to check it, it takes an extremely long time to view it. I don't know if there are any ways to speed this up.

She's running a P4-3.2 WinXP Pro SP2 - 1GB memory.
She's running Outlook 2003 with the data stored locally and with a POP3 account (no Exchange).

The system runs fine with everything else she uses.

Any ideas?

How big is the pst file? Just how many addresses does she have? It sounds like she is hitting the upper practical limit for the addresses.

Frankly many junk email addresses are only used once, then the spammers get another.
