vista upgrade queries
hello, thinking of upgrading to vista, but i have 1 major question that is bugging me, if i do upgrade, then surely all my disks, e.g printer installation cd, norton cd etc designed for xp, will they still work?

We would need a bit more info like what version of Norton Antivirus? What Printer Brand/Model? Programs and versions you are referring too.
I'd probably recommend running the Vista Upgrade advisory tool found here

It will scan your system and tell you if you have key points that should be upgraded
As far as hardware goes I would recommend you have at least a 1.8Ghz Processor and 1 - 2GB of Ram. Also check your video card as many computers came with integrated intel video and they do not have drivers for some. So if you can list your computer brand/model and/or computer specs and we can help more with those details.

You should definitely use the Vista Upgrade Advisor. Assume you will need to get new drivers for most of your devices, and check for availability before you upgrade.
