Sound Drivers needed for HP Pavilion t3000

Hello everyone -

I recently tried to do a fresh installation of my Windows XP OS on the desktop mentioned above -
I made recovery discs as per the HP instructions (the recovery partition was set when the machine was new, with instructions to burn discs - no discs came wth this unit), but the part with the sound card seems to be corrupted -

No sound on this machine -
can anyone send me the drivers (or an image of a "good" recovery disc?")

Called HP and they they no longer have the drivers -
They also wanted to charge me $ 50.00 for tech support that they couldn't guarantee -

I would really appreciate some help here -

You have a driver waiting for you on your OTHER POST. You should not post twice on same Problem
