Userinit.exe Problems
Hi All,
Trying to repair problem with system. Had viruses now when starting up comes up with message the application failed to initialize properly 0xc0000005 userinit.exe, press on ok it then goes to desktop but no icons. Run Task Manager, new task, explorer desktop now comes up but with rundell32.exe problems. Does same in Safe Mode.
Anyone have any ideas

From what I read that is usually due to malware -I suggest you perform a thorough check-out by going here and following their guide:

You have only half removed the spyware/virus problem. Now you have to sort out the problems it left... full troubleshooter here

Thanks for your input but tried everything to sort out but still the same. Will be reformating and installing new operating system.
