Acsess point?
I have a hard wired network with 75 desktop computers all with static IP's. I want to add 5 laptops also with static IP's. They will be wireless so I think I need to use a wireless access point. Is this correct and do I need to do anything special to make everything work? Using Windows XP, and a T1 with a Cisco router for the desktops.

I set them up all the time for our offices. We've been using standard Wireless routers (Netgear, Linksys). We've been setting up a static IP address, Wireless security, and disabling DHCP routing.
Some of my locations a large and I need to setup multiple access points, buit they work well.

Depending on your specific security requirements you may want something more than a consumer AP/router... or not.
