Outlook xp to 2003 - lost my folders

I used to have outlook xp and have re-installed it numerous times and it has shown all the folders and e,mails that I had. I have recently installed outlook 2007 and have entered the same pop3 and smtp settings but now have lost the emails that were previously there.

Hit the Start button, choose "Search" and choose " Search for All Files and Folders". Hit the " More Advanced Options" arrow and choose " Search Hidden Files and Folders " and scroll up and in the search bar and type in *.pst ( Or if you are using Outlook Express you would type *.dbx). Hit the " Search " button and cross your fingers!

Installing Outlook 2007 is unlikely the cause of looseing the emails.
As Guts3D said, find the file and import it
