    FTP and Windows XP Professional

My company just acquired a small group of offices. The offices used to share files using an FTP program called NoFeel FTP. The "file-server" is a Windows Xp Professional system that was running NoFeel FTP. Since that program is now a mess, the remote offices cannot FTP files to / from the file server in the mail office. What do you use for an FTP service? The office no longer has access to that FTP program, and installing a new version from the web doesn't correct the issues.

hmmm could you be a little more precise? What exactly is "a mess"?
What are the clients using to access the ftp server?
Why is there no longer access to to nofeel?
Never, ever approach a computer saying or even thinking "I will just do this quickly."

I suspect the registry portion for the NoFeel ftp is messed up.
XPPRO supports IIS6.0 which contains an ftpserver

himachi is also very simple to setup. Not ftp per say but you can transfer files easily. Like setting up a home network file sharing but much safer.

    Thank you all.
I ended up installing FileZilla on the file server. I then created the user accounts and permissions. Instead of having the users use ftp:\\(IP Address), I created a DynDns.org entry for it. Now the users can access it by ftp:\\(name).dyndns.orgport #).
