    The Mother of all Demos

Forty years ago this month, the concept of a user friendly Personal Computer was demonstrated, with basic GUI, mouse, and more ideas that came to be what we accept as normal computing:

You mean to tell me, they invented the Internets before they bothered to invent color?

Never, ever approach a computer saying or even thinking "I will just do this quickly."

Hmm I finally got to watch a part of this. I had wanted to watch the day it was posted but for some reason the video link was down when I tried. Anyway cool find. I want a keyboard, mouse, and hotkey pad terminal like that though for my office! Then I can come one step closer to my IT cockpit. OK so not really a cockpit as much maybe just a centralized station that allows me to swivel the terminals around for ease of access.
One Script to rule them all.
    One Script to find them.
One Script to bring them all,
    and clean up after itself.
