Top Gear
My bud is a huge fan of the show. I get to see it every so often and today he sent me the flying mini clip which I of course had to share.
One Script to rule them all.
One Script to find them.
One Script to bring them all,
and clean up after itself.

Aaah memory lane, I drove a mini similar to that... except it was green and on a field. In a week a learned to do handbrake turns and do jumps... I hit a concealed drain cover and launched it and landed it... the second time I wasn't so lucky, and learned how to get out of a seat belt upside down
Never, ever approach a computer saying or even thinking "I will just do this quickly."

That loooks fun. I always thought the Mini was sweet for a little car. I really like the new ones. They are quite popular here.

They are nothing like the old ones... much too luxurious... they aren't drafty for one thing!

Yes but they were reliable. However I wouldn't have bought one of the older ones. I liken them to the Volkswagen Bug.
The newer ones seem much more fun and quiet.

Where's your sense of adventure? All wrapped up in a nice sound deadened shell - get back to some real driving

In the winter of 69-70 I was far north (for me) near Thunder Bay Ontario and daily we ran one of those little demons 22 miles back and forth to a generating station from the colony site we lived in (colony being a 'Hydro Town').
That vehicle was one of the few front-wheel drives available that could handle canadian winter at -40 and survive, climb hills though inches of snow and still keep going, and seat 5 uncomfortably.
We housed it in a heated shed - said internal heat left as soon as the doors opened BUT the motor never froze.
Great vehicle. Modern overdone vehicles are lame compared.
