Couldn't get any information from Toshiba so had to do a search on the web to find a part number which took a while. Ordered a new DVD/CD. Went to install and had more trouble getting the cover of to be able to release the bad drive. Finally got the cover off and replaced the drive with a new one and it works great. Thanks again for all the time spent trying to trouble shooting the problem.
