Moving this summer, need to find a job there.
Looks like I'm most likely moving to Bowling Green Kentucky some time this summer. Is anyone in that area that can point me in the right direction to find a tech job? So far I've just done a preliminary search through careerbuilder.com and the jobs they had available aren't in my skill set. I would consider Nashville for finding a tech job but it's a bit of a hike seeing that I'd be living in Bowling Green so I'm trying to avoid suggestions for there.

Hey thanks CCT! I'll take a look at those later on today since I have to leave in a few minutes. If anyone else has more to add I'm open to any and all suggestions.

Well it's not absolutely certain that I'll be heading to bowling green but odds are at about 80% right now. However I do want to look into my options there. Moving is one action short of a proposal to my GF but that's only if she ends up moving there. Yes I'd rather she came here to Pittsburgh but that's a long story on why she won't. So in a nut shell if she doesn't move neither do I. Well at least for a couple of more years anyway that or until I convince her here is better than where she is.

Charm? If it wasn't for my wife I'd still be wearing a pocket protector.

Well the good news is it seems in the travel information for Bowling Green is that they are claiming to be working on a more technology oriented area. So if that's the case that means they're upgrading from old or non-existant systems. If i'm lucky that means there is an opening in the market for me to just start up a tech shop. Eh it's all speculative at the moment. If I'm lucky the few times I get to visit before I move there will give me enough insight on what I might be able to do.

I misread that, and giggled.
Good luck with the job hunting, and good luck with your GF.
