Hanzorx what antivirus or firewall do you have installed?
Did you install the chipset drivers first?

According to everest your audio is Audio Adapter Intel 82801EB ICH5 - AC'97 Audio Controller [A-2/A-3]

So why are you installing C-Media?

    try this one

    Who made the computer?
Never, ever approach a computer saying or even thinking "I will just do this quickly."

My antivirus is NOD32, firewall isn't turned on
I found the CD for all the chipset installs and Audio Drivers, it start installing C-Media. Even then i get the "Data is invalid".
    Tried the SoundMAX, same outcome.

    Menu of the CD autorun.

And after clicking "Audio Driver and Application" it starts installing C-Media, freezes on 94% as usual, and gives me the finger.

How come even the CD that came with the computer bullies me now...

Sorry it's been a while since I looked in. Has any progress been made?

Given that the original cd also has a problem it might imply there is a hardware fault. Have you tried uninstalling all sound drivers from add/remove programs and then turning the sound off in bios/setup, rebooting a few times so that windows gets the idea that sound is no longer there, then reinstalling?
