    Question CF-M34 Problem

    I have a Panasonic Toughbook CF-M34VHFZDM that works fine if I am willing to overlook the fact that it has no touchscreen capability, none of the Fn+F# functions work and any and all drivers downloaded from Panasonic produce the message "this machine does not support".
    The computer has a 933MHz Mobil Intel PIII CPU 256MB RAM 160GB HDD and shows BIOS V5.00L16 with Embedded Controller V6.00L11.
    It does not have UPDD installed.
    I am running XP Home Edition SPII.
    I think that my BIOS may be the problem, but have searched in vain for a solution.
    As I said the computer operates great, it just dosen't live up to expectations.

    Can you guys help?

    thanks,

    While unable to provide direct or even possibly useful assistance (and noting that Panasonic bars the driver info through requiring a 'sign in'), I did find this bit of information/link;

    SUCCESS !!!!!!! I changed the computer's setup "Touchscreen" from the default (auto) to (enable) and in UPDD setup let it find the appropriate com port instead of com 1. Bingo........Touchscreen.

    Thanks, CCT, you're my hero for today.
