HUGE Problem with 6930p
I bought a barebone hp 6930p came with Laptop Shell + LCD and MOBO + Modem + Bluetooth. I bought a DUO Core 2 T9400 + CD-R/RW/DVD-ROM DRIVE + Battery I had a 2gb 667 (2x1) ram and a Formatted 320 Sata HDD laying around so I put that in just to see if it works. I didn't buy the WIFI WIRELESS CARD because I wasn't ready for it yet. It start up then shows the post I went into the bios setup notice that it needed a bios update Plus there was a saying.
HP Bios application selected is corrupt or missing. Please install the application and try again.
Bios Application Error (501)
But the biggest problem is that it don't show or read my drive, usb or SD Card. I looked in boot order and the only thing that's there is Notebook Multibay. There's no way that I can possible update the bios or install a OS
I'm truly going insane with this.

If I'm not mistaken doesn't that imply that your bios is corrupt? I'd say let the others comment first to see if they concur. However IF the bios is corrupt then you have 2 choices. A: Get the company you purchased it from to replace it if it came DOA like that. B: Go through the tedious work of finding a replacement BIOS chip.
One Script to rule them all.
One Script to find them.
One Script to bring them all,
and clean up after itself.
