    Question HL-DT-ST-DVD+-RW GWA4164B CD/DVD Burner

    I recently had to replace my harddrive due to the blue screen of death. Since I got my computer back my burner will play DVD's & CD's and will write to DVD's but does not recognize a blank CD. It keeps telling me to insert a blank disk. Can anyone help me. I never had problems with it prior to the crash. I have a Dell Dimension 5150 CPU.
