I am having real problems finding the correct driver need to get my soundto work - I have tried numerous website but to no prvail. I have the following

Board: eSys K8M800/939 1.X
Bus Clock: 200 megahertz

Windows XP Professional Service Pack 3 (build 2600)
Install Language: English (United States)
System Locale: English (United Kingdom)

1.80 gigahertz AMD Sempron
64 kilobyte primary memory cache
128 kilobyte secondary memory cache
64-bit ready
Not hyper-threaded

CMI8738/C3DX PCI Audio Device
Hauppauge Nova-T IR
Hauppauge Nova-T Stick DVB-T Tuner Device
Standard Game Port
Unimodem Half-Duplex Audio Device

In device manager I am getting the multimedia audio controller flagged in yellow - please help

However, I read that the mobo id REALLY a rebranded PC Chips A21G(V1.1) (the thread writer said AG21 but I believe he was wrong since that doesn't exist).

Try the CM18738 first. If no joy, uninstall and go for the other.


edit:
WARNING: don't try the Bios from PC Chips - there's no guarantee that Esystems didn't get the one you have tweaked and you could kill your mobo

CCT thanks for the quick reply post - I am unable to download from the CMedia website requires a login that I do not have and cant see how to obtain one - so tried the PCChips download that did not work so presume you are right in suggsting the CMedia one first - can I get it from elsewhere ?

Click on 'Log in' and then 'Have an account?' and you can create one.

It's probably to stop automated downloaders.
