I highly doubt you'll be able to hook up a LCD screen to it without a decent amount of work (both hardware and software).
Hobbyist-grade LCDs with touch screen either use the SPI interface or a parallel interface with MANY pins, you'd have to write your own driver anyway which I guarantee will be a major PITA. Trust me on this one...

I found a brand new, still sealed 8 gig SD card. I believe it is high speed, and none of the cameras I use SD memory You are welcome to have it, Niclo!

The bunny is no longer sad!

Shame on CeeBee, that poor bunny had to suffer.

Well I'm short a HDMI cord but it does take a RCA video cord as well, I should have one of those around here. I downloaded every OS they have sponsored on their site and I unfortunately had to by a micro USB cord since I lost my super small sleek one when moving. I'm almost there with finally using this after acquiring it!

I have a dozen micro-USB cords sitting in a bin! Might even have a HDMI cord or two as well, will look when I get home.

Sounds like a plan! Now all I need to do is get CeeBee to make me some drivers for a mini screen

Well I'm posting on here from the RPi. It's a nifty little thing to use so far. The OS distribution I am on is the Debian Squeeze. Definitely a good build from what I can tell. It does have speed limitations and my test of loading cnn.com proved slower than a standard PC but that was expected. Well I'm off to finish work, then after that maybe some tinkering with this device.

Well it looks like many of the ideas I had were ideas others had too, now I don't have to pioneer. I just have to follow their instructions.

All fixed, btw still trying to take time to tinker with this nifty thing. I need a spare usb mouse and usb keyboard. I've been trying to locate a usb keyboard that also doubles as a usb hub so I can daisy-chain a mouse into the KB. That way I have freed up ports on the RPi.

Depending on whose sales figures you want to believe sales of the Raspberry Pi are up around a million units. Who would have thunk?

Niclo, I have a few dozen USB mice, keyboards, and USB hubs. You're going to have to make the journey to Casa Del Guts3d and pick some stuff up. Bring the better half, but tell her that she may not beat my pinball high score... yet again...
