Hi :
I have had this strange screen flashing/flickering at start . Sometimes slow and at times faster with short pauses . A few weeks now tried a few things , but need help now .
A few quick things come to mind. Check that both ends of the video cable are attached tightly.
Next I would also think to check the video drivers to see if you have the latest.
Also does it flicker when its running, say after you are in windows?
