    Mom in Itune Trouble

    My mom has a XP computer..she tries to download I tunes..the computer either freezes up or Itune will not run at all..she also has a problem when she just downloaded google Earth..the computer froze up to..would she have an old version of XP and this why she can not run these programs or something else.

    Sounds to me like your issues are likely a lot deeper then that.
    First off I think Google earth isnt really made for a computer that old.
    Thinking that your downloading the latest version on an XP computer which
    if you take the release date of 2002 of XP, makes the possible age
    of the computer 10 + years old.
    Going down that theme i think before i do anything else I would do a
    chkdsk /r from the command prompt and see how that turns out.
    Unless you have replaced the harddrive, it's likely having issues writing to the harddrive.
    Time to test it.
