Delay of a day in receiving email in outlook 2007

    Hello :O)

I have a client who uses outlook 2007 to receive email at work, on his laptop and on his home computer.
few days ago he complained that he started to get emails on his home computer with a delay of about a day. on his laptop and on his work computer it works well. There were no changes made to his home computer.
I thought I would install him windows live mail instead of the outlook 2007 client, But i'm afraid he needs the outlook because he syncs his android device with it's calendar.
I would appreciate a suggestion to revive his outlook.

    Thank you

2 things you could do is one, delete the account reboot the system and re-enter the account. If this doesn't work, you could create a new profile and see if this resolved the problem.
It's not the computers that keep having problems, it's the users!!

When an ISP or email provider go down, it can often take some time for them to get back up and running. Long delays like you describe would be typical.

Did the problem start out of the clear blue? And has it since appeared to have gone away?
