Printer not activated error code 30
I am posting this solution since there is nothing useful out there regarding the exact error code "printer not activated error code 30"
If you encounter "printer not activated error code 30" when trying to quick print it is due to having printed previously to a PDF via manual selection. To fix this you must go into the application you are printing from, and manually print from the default printer, once this is done you can now use the quickprint without receiving the error anymore.
This appears to be related to a PDF application trying to be the default device or even just a bug with PDF printing in general. I had no time to study and investigate as this was in a live user environment rather than a closed testing session.
You're welcome.
One Script to rule them all.
One Script to find them.
One Script to bring them all,
and clean up after itself.
