delayed write failed
Windows XP professional, SP 3 with all the latest updates, two hard drives.
Everything was working fine. Just two days ago i started getting the
message untitled4.jpg
it pops out every few minutes. I delete it comes back. Windows defragment disk could not have access to the disk. It's been like this for this for the past two days. I reformatted the disk. The same thing. This is all I have on the disk
untitled3.jpg
And then I got this message out of the blue in the middle of the screen
untitled2.jpg
I scanned the disk for errors Non. What is exactly the problem and how to fix it.

Thanks. I visited the link. All the options failed to produce except the registry key. I created the registry key and gave the value as directed. Not only it worked but also it increase the open/save file to light speed.

If nothing has changed in your system then the delay write failure is an early indication of an upcoming drive failure.

Wow... not good news.
Indeed, nothing has changed. It just happened suddenly two days ago.
I will keep watching any developments. Thanks
