    Resolved [RESOLVED] Video Card Problem/Recommendation

I think I'm having a problem with my video card. When I try and run it at a higher refresh rate(greater than 60) the screen shakes ever so slightly. I know the monitor can support it. Is this a problem with my video card.

If so, does anyone have any recommendations for a new card? I'm looking for something under $100 with either 8 or 16 megs on it.

    Thanks,
    Jim

What resolution are you running at?
I use a steath III 540 extreme which i picked up for around 80 bucks; its not top of the line but it plays well.

Hi. It sounds like it is an issue with your monitor, not the video card. I would go to your video settings. Advanced, adapter and see if it is set to your adapter default or at optimal. It may be set to your adapter,if it is, change it to optimal. If it doesn't work, remove both devices in device manager and reboot. Chances are that you may be using the wrong drivers.
