[RESOLVED] Painting!!
Hello,
Looking through this forum i found the section on painting mods we are in now and I did one of the mods recomended and now my hard drive/modem don't work.
I take the motherboard out, put it on paper careful and spray it and now it don't work after i put it back in. Do you think it's because I used green metalic spray and the metal flakes are messing things up? I'm not suree. I try to chip the paint off and now it makes beep noise when I start it.
Aslo, my keyboard, i can't see the letters now. the green metalic covered the letters and is there a way to buy letter stickers or some thhing that I can put on now so i see the letters??
HELP!!

It's a joke. Many a times, the poster simply spells too many words wrong to seem like an idiot. Definately the case.

You mean the one where the guy Silicone sealed his whole PC, and topped it off with water. Yeah, that guy was much more believable that this one. Nice try who ever you are…well, naah, I was just trying to be nice, you suck!

Actually, what would painting do? If you can spray a board with sealant for water cooling, why not regular paint? Maybe if you used fluorescent it might be pretty keen in a blacklight lit case.
I suppose you could tape and seal the sockets and slots and stuff. The resistors and capacitors might have some difficulty cooling if you really put it on thick, but otherwise, what would it do? It's not conductive.
Anyone think this is really possible?

Yeah, I know about the heat, but really. People use clear coat to cover their boards when water cooling and using a compressor to get temps down near freezing.
What is so very different about clear coat and regular paint? If you can use one, why not the other?
